Introduction to Government Security


Course objectives:

The Introductory Course is aimed at those who are new to the task or who are required to support their company’s security team.

Course duration:

Starts 10:00 – Finish approximately 16.00

Although this is a one day course, there is the option to stay at the hotel the night before similar to the Document course.

Course content:

The course will provide an overview of the duties and responsibilities of a Security Controller in a List X/N company as well as introducing the terminology being used in this sector. In addition, it will:

Who should attend?

Although aimed at Security Controllers, Board Level Contacts would benefit from the Introductory Course, as it will reinforce what is required of them in their support of their Security Controllers. This Introductory Course should be a pre-curser to the other DISA courses: the Security Controller Practitioner Course; the Vetting Course; and, the Document management course.
